Before founding Consulting Collaborative, Mr. Voreis was Executive Vice President of United States Aluminum Corporation near Dallas, TX, President & CEO of Hebel Building Systems in Atlanta, Georgia and Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Kawneer Company at its corporate office in Norcross, Georgia.

During a very successful career spanning three decades at Kawneer, he was responsible for all marketing and sales related functions as well as training, research & development and product engineering. At Hebel Building Systems, the world leader in autoclaved, aerated concrete products, he had full operating responsibilities for North America including their new $40 million U.S. manufacturing facility. As Executive Vice President of United States Aluminum Corporation, Richard had full responsibility for the Commercial Products Group, which has 16 operations throughout the United States and Canada.

Throughout his career Richard Voreis has been known and respected as an executive possessing strong leadership skills with the proven ability to hire and develop people utilizing a participatory management style together with a results-oriented bias. As a highly capable consultant he possesses broad management skills with specific hands-on experience and contacts in North America as well as global markets. He has been very successful in selling high quality products at a premium price during strong and weak economic conditions.

He effectively communicates with all disciplines including manufacturing, research & development, engineering, marketing, sales, customer service, human resources, information services, training and financial personnel. As importantly, he is known for objective decision-making abilities that significantly impact profitability.

Richard Voreis was essentially born and raised in the construction industry. His father was a residential homebuilder and Richard worked his way through Indiana University building homes and graduated with a BS degree in Business Management. He is currently active in many industry related and community activities including the Georgia Tech College of Architecture Board, National Fenestration Rating Council and the National Glass Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Voreis has also been active for many years as a league director in youth competitive swimming and also served as a Texas High School Interscholastic Swim Meet Official. This involvement with competitive swimming has continued with his current position as Chairperson of the NCAA Swim Team Parents Group at Denison University. Finally, he is a volunteer along with his son at Habitat for Humanity as well as a member of the Preservation Park Cities Historical Society.
